How can I select the size of the gravel to be used in the element to be built?
It is recommended to take into account the following considerations
in order to select the maximum size of the thick aggregate or gravel, which must meet the following
specifications:
• 1/5 of the smallest dimension of the concrete element
• 3/4 of the free space between the reinforcing steel bars and between the reinforcing
rods and the forms
• 1/3 of the thickness of the slabs for shoulders, foundations or concrete
floors.
