GCC’s Code of Ethics is a set of standards aimed at providing the grounds so that everyone in the Group observes the same rules to coexist, acting in the way expected from them and basing their decisions and actions on the organization’s philosophy; namely, on GCC’s vision and values. This Code is important for GCC because it rules over our behavior both as persons and as an organization, guiding us to reach our strategic business goals at the communities where we operate, to reinforce our position as a sound and successful company.
Ethics Committee:
We have an Ethics Committee, which consists of representatives from GCC’s several sectors and people who set an example for their honesty.
EIt is important to point-out that the Ethics Committee is governed by their own Rulings to make decisions, and that they have documents that have been shared with our associates.
Whistleblowing
The Code of Ethics and Conduct includes whistleblowing tools, which help our people point out attitudes that differ from our values.
Some of these tools include an email address, a website and a phone line, all of them established solely for this purpose and prepared to keep the whistleblower’s identity safe. Each member of GCC’s family receives training on this matter and pledges with their signature to follow the guidelines contained in our Code.
