The event brought together government representatives, private and social sector partners, and company leaders, including Marcos Ramírez, Mexico Division Director; Gina Lotito, Sustainability and Innovation Director; César Conde, Legal Director; Laura Portillo, from Fundación GCC; and Héctor Leal, Environmental Control Advisor at GCC’s Chihuahua Plant.

Also in attendance were Irving Rafael Loera Talamantes, from the State Government’s Secretariat of Human Development and Wellbeing; Ing. Lázaro Nochebuena Gómez, Territorial Liaison at Fundación Grupo México; and Ing. Juan Antonio Antúnez Prieto, General Director of Sustentare Servicios Técnicos Especializados and President of the Board of ECOS, Ecología y Comunidad Sustentable A.C.

The campaign includes the donation of 8,000 plants and trees, mainly ornamental and medicinal species, to be distributed among schools, neighboring communities, GCC employees and their families who registered to participate, as well as local organizations and collectives.

In addition, weekly delivery sessions will be coordinated with beneficiaries through the Educational Services of the State of Chihuahua (SEECH) to ensure an organized distribution and maximize environmental impact.
